Red2Blue for Tennis

From Red Head to Blue Head — the Mindset Behind Every Big Point

Red2Blue helps tennis players, coaches and parents perform under pressure, one point at a time — from a forced error on break point to the walk back to the baseline.
"Red2Blue helps to calm me down when I’m frustrated. It’s taught me several techniques. I use the Zoom out and Zoom in tool, and I’ve also created my own technique, where I re-adjust my strings to re-focus my attention for the next point.”

How does Red2Blue help your game?

Mindset plays an increasingly important role in tennis at every level. It's an individual sport played out in public, point by point, with nowhere to hide — which makes how you handle pressure just as important as your serve or your backhand.

Don't let one lost point cost you the next three games!

Red2Blue provides players, coaches and parents with a simple, shared framework to recognise when the mind starts to spiral into an unhelpful “Red Head” state — a forced error on a big point, tensing up and rushing strokes under pressure — and the tools needed to reset to a calm, focused “Blue Head” before the next point.

For coaches

Give your players a shared mental language to use on court and in training. Red2Blue equips coaches with a practical framework to build mental resilience alongside technical skill, helping players understand their own pressure responses and take ownership of their mindset, point by point.

For players

Learn to spot the moment a “Red Head” creeps in — the tightness before a big serve, the frustration after a forced error on break point — and use practical mindset tools to reset before the next point. Red2Blue helps players stay composed under pressure, recover faster from a bad game and bring their best tennis to the moments that matter most.

For parents

Tennis parents watch every point up close — and it shows. Red2Blue helps parents become more effective “athlete parents”: recognising when their own reaction to the scoreline is adding pressure rather than support, and learning to focus on what's actually within their control. Built around a simple framework — recognise, accept, choose — Red2Blue gives parents the tools to support their child's mindset instead of undermining it.
