Park House School

Building resilience with Red2Blue

Background
Park House School champions a culture shaped by the values of sport and high performance, driving the personal growth and potential of its students. After reading a blog about the school’s success using insights from Legacy by Dr Ceri Evans (one of our founding partners), we got in touch. Not long after, a staff member attended a Red2Blue Coaching Certification workshop, and came back buzzing with ideas about how Red2Blue’s could be using in an educational setting.
"Red2Blue is without a doubt a unique approach to performance and personal development for our young people"
What We Did
In 2020, we partnered with Park House to roll out a tailored Red2Blue programme aimed at developing mental resilience across the student body. We started with students and followed up with staff workshops—ensuring teachers could both use and model Red2Blue in their roles. The goal was to certify a group of students and staff who would lead the programme’s next chapter. Then COVID hit. In-person plans were paused—but the need for resilience was greater than ever. Park House saw this as an opportunity. We created a bespoke Red2Blue webinar for students, parents, and staff, delivered on 14 May 2020.
The Results
The webinar reframed Red2Blue as a powerful mindset tool for navigating uncertainty. It helped the school community stay focused, grounded, and resilient in the face of the pandemic’s challenges. According to the Head teacher, Derek Peaple: “The response was outstanding, with one parent’s comment capturing that of many: ‘Thanks so much for yesterday’s webinar. It was so timely and has really helped us to think together as a family about what we can consciously do to control our situation’. Red2Blue is without a doubt a unique approach to performance and personal development for our young people and across the wider community.”
